Colfosco, the highest town of Alta Badia, is situated at the foot of the Sella massif and of the Sassongher mountain.

Surrounded by woods and gentle slopes it offers numerous alternatives for calm excursions even for the less energetic – we would remind you of the excursion to the Pisciadù waterfall. 

In a few hours’ walk from Colfosco it is possible to reach the Puez Odle natural park, along easy, well signposted and excellently maintained paths, or the Sella Group with the famous Val Mezdì and the Pisciadù (suitable for expert excursionists).

In winter Colfosco is ideal and a strategic point of departure for the famous skiing panoramic trip of the Sella Ronda or for spectacular off-piste ski runs as, for example, the downhill from Val Mezdì in the Sella Group.
